Semana Santa the things it does to missionaries!!! (letter from April 1, 2013)

-->
Hola MIS FAMILIES Y AMIGOS!!!!

This week was good but difficult.  The lord has really been trialing us this week.  Semana santa made it even more difficult.  You would think that it would make it easier. NOPE!!! WRONG!!!!!!  People coming and leaving. You never know when they were working or home or on vacation.  Anyways......This  week my companion and I worked so hard.  But still pretty much failed on our goals.  We got one fecha con one family.  They are amazing and still working so hard with them.  They are really amazing. We are teaching all of them.  We had our zone bautismo.  It was really good.   We all did a musical number and then after they fed us dinner.

Sunday we only had one person show up. But not our goal. Sad day.  Cada Sunday, we go around to get our investigators to come with us.  But sometimes they are not there or they pretend not to be there.  Sometimes it really is sad to think that people don’t really know the meaning of the atonement.  But, this week is supposed to be better. My Spanish is coming along and I continue to  grow closer to my Lord, Redeemer and Savior.  This week I really learned the importancia of having faith in the lord and also setting an example.

This week we have a multi zone, Romney- you might know what that is, anyways.  It’s where different zones get together and learn with the President.   Anyways......I really do love being a missionary.  And the church is true!

We have really being trying to work with members doing service and other things. Anyways,f it has helped so much.  I really do love it here. Its times like these that you remember why the atonement is so amazing.  Easter was good but the usual.  It’s amazing that the lord teaches you in so many ways your weaknesses and how you can be strong.  I do have a challenge for everyone!!!!

This week next coming week I would all like you to have set a date when you are feeding the missionaries. How are you helping them?  Are you going to lessons with them?  Are you giving them referrals?  Also are you attending the temple? As often as you can? These are so important!!! When you do these things, you are following our savior Jesucristo.  Today is the day and tomorrow and yesterday to prepare for the lord.   Never put aside those things. NUNCA!!!!! Also how many of you are applying PMG (Preach My Gospel) to your lives?

As a missionary I really have learned since being a missionary what it means to be an example.   If you are getting mad a your child for something they have done and need disciplined, please please take a step back and look and the example you are showing.  If you are thinking something and then saying, and next you hear your child say......what kind of example are you setting? Please think about these questions.  And this as well.......What kind of example, or better yet what kind of Representative of Christ are you?  If you judge someone, do you have the right?  What you do here on earth is what the Lord will bring up at the time of each of our judgment.  How ready are you?  Remember, apply PMG to your daily lives everyday.  Remember who you are.   It’s not something we should take for granted.  Remember this … FAMIILIES are so sacred to the lord.  This is why we have them.  FAMILIES are the most sacred part of the plan of salvation.  Always remember that.

I am out of time......but I love you all. Remember the lord listens to your prayers and answers them in mysterious ways that you wouldn’t recognize. I love you all. I want to hear from all of you next week. Also, on the packages for me and Romney, remember to stick Jesus stickers, I hear it helps and maybe write this as well....... sumministros misioneros or suministros misionales.  Anyways, I love you all.  Sorry if I didn’t answer all questions. Also happy conferencia general este semana.   Happy late Easter.
Love you all.

Hna Hansen
